“ Calm atmosphere when dining outside. Bring mosquito repellent. Rustic dishes, using local ingredients. Must try the mixed appetizers...they can even form an entire meal. Fair pricing for quality if dishes. ”
“ Delicious food, beautiful location, efficient service, great price/quality ratio. It is not everyday that you get to eat in an old train station! From many traditional Sicilian appetizers, to the first course with amazing pasta, to the dessert (panna cotta pictured below), we left fed with one incredibly delicious meal. The staff were efficient and helpful in telling me about their many gluten-free options. This was the most tasty meal on our recent trip to Sicily, and probably also the cheapest. Moreover, we enjoyed walking around the property, and could not get enough! On our next trip to Sicily, we will definitely make a special trip to picturesque Ficuzza to stay at the hotel and eat again at this wonderful restaurant. This would also be the perfect place for a banquet or wedding! ”

As a vegetarian, I'm totally happy to just eat bread and butter when out with others, but even though this was a fixed menu, they went out of thier way to ensure I had a full belly. Walk around the forest before you go in, as you won't be able to move after the feast. ”
